I have been doing this for a little over a year. I have enjoyed making things my whole life and have worked with wood for almost as long.

I first discovered woodturning through YouTube videos and my first lathe was a Christmas gift. I have been turning wood as a hobby for several years and always enjoyed it but I didn’t really pursue it until Covid-19 hit in 2020. I had more time on my hands so I started really diving into woodturning for something to do. I began to make things quicker and with better forms as I practiced and learned from anyone I could.. In 2021 I graduated high school and started turning more frequently while working as a part-time landscaper at a church.

By 2022 woodturning had become a passion, so I quit my job and started selling my work at farmers markets. I soon began to receive custom orders and even a few bulk orders. I soon found the joy of production work and have been working to increase my speed and proficiency. Woodturning has become my passion and a very important part of my life.
