With Spring Buying Season in Mind, American Handcrafted Philadelphia® Moves Show to January 2020

March 21, 2019

WHITE PLAINS, NY—March 21, 2019 — Today the American Handcrafted® Philadelphia show announced that it is shifting dates from March 14-16, 2020, to a new date: January 25-27, 2020. As with previous years, the show will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center; however, in January 2020, the show will be centered in Halls D and E.

“We are excited to announce that the American Handcrafted Philadelphia show will be moving up to January 2020. This shift will give buyers the opportunities they need to place orders and allow artists time to make and ship for the beginning of the spring season,” said the Show Director of American Handcrafted, Allison Garafalo. “Whether you are looking to buy for galleries, museum stores, independent specialty retail or something in between, this productive change will undoubtedly benefit your seasonal buying and selling needs.”

The American Handcrafted Philadelphia show has historically been held over President’s Day weekend in February, and the new move to January is expected to be a one-time-only. The annual show is expected to move back to February in 2021.

Artist applications are currently being accepted and buyer registration is expected to open toward the end of summer. This date shift for 2020 is expected to bring more buyers and artists together, January 25-27, 2020.
