During the Coronavirus outbreak, there have been many attempts by scammers to deceive or mislead individuals and small business, in particular with regard to grant and loan programs. They try to take advantage of the current situation by delivering misinformation via phone, email, postal mail, text, or social media. The global COVID-19 pandemic is forcing everyone to change how they interact with the world. With lightning speed, it has dramatically changed our daily routines in every aspect – our lives, our jobs, and our businesses. Based on where we are in the world, what we’re experiencing is somewhat nuanced.

It’s a time for everyone – and every business – to pivot and give assistance. We are working on ways to help you – our artists, retailers, designers – during this time, so stay tuned. For now, let’s all take some time to continue our support for our local retailers. With the ongoing coverage surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak and its potential effects, it is the American Handcrafted Show and Emerald’s top priority to keep our community safe and informed. With American Handcrafted Summer Gallery @ NY NOW more than four months away and American Handcrafted Winter 2021 more than ten months away, we do not foresee any changes and are actively planning the upcoming shows.

Our number one concern is the safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff. We’ll closely monitor the situation and will follow guidelines set forth by our federal and local government and health agencies. Onsite we will implement control measures and best practices recommended by the CDC and local health officials as necessary.
